Detox, detox, detox!

Do you ever feel like you just need to cleanse your body? Putting your body through a detox is the best way to jump start weight loss and I tried several at the beginning of my journey. There are lots of different detox diets, but I have found that it is best to find a handful of clean living/raw recipes that you can incorporate into your every day living. My favorite detox drink is the oldest trick in the book. Apparently, an old wives' tale claims that 2 tbsp. of apple cider vinegar per day is great to clean out toxins in your body and keep your feeling alive and energized. I like to mix it up a little and create a clean living energy drink that is sure to keep my body healthy, free of toxins, and constantly ready to lose more weight.


Detox Energy Drink

-Several tablespoons of Apple Cider Vinegar
-Splash of unfiltered apple juice
-Cinnamon
-Half a packet of Stevia
-Filtered water to fill the rest of your glass


Apple cider vinegar is extremely acidic so make sure you water it down so that it doesn't burn your throat. Mix up a little of this every day and you will start to feel more energized and cleaner.
